Forest Press has assembled a team of experienced researchers, writers, photographers and designers who are committed to producing work of exceptional quality.

Ed Bernik has been a commercial photographer for 25 years, specializing in corporate and editorial images of people. He began his love affair with the Allegheny National Forest after returning to western Pennsylvania from Boston , not as a photographer, but as a fly fisherman—taking refuge on small streams in search of native brook trout. Pennsylvania Wilds: Images from the Allegheny National Forest introduces readers to some of his favorite people and places. Ed has five previous books of photography to his credit, including Helaman Ferguson: Mathematics in Stone and Bronze (Meridian Creative Group), which earned Folio Magazine's Ozzie Award for design excellence.

Joe Ferralli , founder of Black Sheep Media™, is an award-winning videographer, director and editor specializing in interactive multi-media design and high definition filmmaking. An avid fly fisherman and motorcyclist, Ferralli brings a unique sensibility to his work documenting the outdoors. His work can be seen in the "Forest Companion" CD.

Lisa Gensheimer , president of Main Street Media, Inc., is a writer and producer whose career spans more than 25 years and includes work in historic preservation, heritage tourism, public relations and television. Her documentaries drawn from Pennsylvania history have appeared on public television stations nationwide. Lisa's story about Ida Tarbell, “The Lady and the Titan,” first published in Pennsylvania Heritage magazine, was selected for inclusion in SIRS' educational database. Safe Harbor , a multi-media project about the Underground Railroad, was included in the American Library Association's 2005 Top 10 Resources for Black History Month (Booklist). Pennsylvania Wilds is her first book.
